Answer:  Polyurethane was first invented by German scientist Otto Bayer in 1937. It is a kind of polymer which may seem in shape of foam, rubber, wood, glass or varnish.

Where Are the Applicatioan Areas of Polyurethane?

Answer: Application areas of polyurethane is expanding day by day since it was first invented. Today It is widely used in insulation, textile, furniture, medical and automotive sectors. One of the main appliation field of polyurethane is  as an adhesive in many sectors.

What is Polyurethane Foam Insulation? What are the advantages?

Answer:  Polyurethane Foam is a high quality insulation material. It is a obtained from the reaction between isocyenate and poliol under high pressure and desired heat. The two compenant are mixed while being sprayed and adheres to the ground in second and takes the shape of foam. The foam solidifies and gets its last shape in seconds.

Spray Polyurethane Foam’s R-Value of 7 which means  two times of that of other insulation materials such as rock wool, EPS etc. Moreover SPF has many advantages over the other insulation materials about easiness and the time spent during application.

One of the most crucial word for polyurethane is density. It directly affects the R value of insulation as well as the consumption per metersquare. It differs from 5 to 1000 densities. For insulation purposes usually 15-50 density products are preferred. Other density raw materials are used for various sectors. Very high density products are mainly used for imitation wood, imitation glass etc.

How Much Raw Material Do I Need for 1 Metersquare?

Answer:  It is a fact that the temperature of the area, stability of machinery’s heat and pressure and the ability of technician during the application of SPF affects the consumption directly. Here we supply a table about the consumption per metresquare. This table is prepared according to the scientific data but as we said before it may change 5-10 % according to the external factors.
